Bavand Youssefzadeh, D.O.

Dr. Bavand Youssefzadeh is a fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist specializing in an array of general ophthalmology procedures such as laser vision correction, corneal diseases, and treatment, cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, glaucoma management, and glaucoma surgery.

EDUCATION | TRAINING
Dr. Youssefzadeh obtained his undergraduate at Baylor University in biochemistry and attended medical school at the College of Osteopathic
Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. Dr. Youssefzadeh completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at NOVA Southeastern University/Larkin Community Hospital where he was named Chief Resident. He then completed his Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery Fellowship at Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute.

Dr. Youssefzadeh is fluent in Farsi as well as Spanish and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association,
the Cornea Society and the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology.
