Dr. Michael S. Solomon is a board certified, fellowship trained ophthalmologist and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology with over 20 years of experience in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Solomon has expertise in the field of laser vision correction and has performed thousands of refractive surgeries.

Dr. Solomon, a Denver native, earned his B.A. at the Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Solomon completed his residency in ophthalmology at Botsford General Hospital (Detroit Consortium) in affiliation with Michigan State University. His Refractive Surgery Fellowship was completed at the Colorado Eye Institute in association with Michigan State University.

Dr. Solomon has been the recipient of several prestigious awards such as the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (AOCOOHNS) Fellowship Award; Presidential Achievement Award, American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology; and the Osteopathic Fellow Award, American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Solomon is proud to hold several teaching appointments including:

When not performing LASIK on happy patients, Dr. Solomon can be
found up in the majestic mountains of Colorado skiing fresh powder
snow with friends and family.
