LASIK VISION INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES EXCLUSIVE USE OF VISX TECHNOLOGY AT ALL LASER CORRECTION CENTERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY

The CustomVue technology is considered to be the most accurate, highest-quality and technologically advanced laser vision correction process available.  The procedure designs a distinct correction for each eye, with unprecedented levels of measurement accuracy and treatment precision.

The VISX WaveScan Wavefront System identifies and measures imperfections in the eye 25 times more precisely than standard methods.  Based on the data gathered, the WaveScan technology then produces a detailed “map” of the eye, translates this information and designs a set of digital treatment instructions for the VISX STAR S4 IR Excimer Laser System.  The laser system, which is the most advanced technology platform available, integrates the WaveScan data and custom treatment design to deliver the custom-tailored laser treatment.  The CustomVue procedure uses Iris Registration technology, which is the first fully automated method of aligning the treatment to the cornea providing greater alignment accuracy.
